Not going anywhere again without Kathy’s involvement!! I had initially contacted Kathy to help me book a surprise anniversary trip for my husband and I in August 2013. She was so knowledgeable and thorough in the planning stage for our Vancouver trip that I asked her if she had any expertise in the Southern California area for our July family vacation, for me and my husband and 3 kids, aged 15, 12 and 10. Lucky for me, she does. We just returned from one of our best family vacations ever!
It was by turns exhilarating, relaxing, scenic and hip, largely due to where Kathy put us, where she sent us, and how she timed it all. Working with this fun-loving, detail-oriented, Energizer Bunny was a total blast from beginning to end. Kathy asks all the right questions, then really listens to the answers. More importantly, she reads between the lines of what you say and don’t say to help figure out the personalities of the people traveling.
Prime example: A few days before our SoCal trip, I started to panic thinking we didn’t have enough activities lined up. She talked me off the ledge, reminding me that my kids would need downtime and that we had just enough stuff planned so we wouldn’t be bored or overworked in trying to get to and fro in LA traffic. Was she ever right! Communications are a breeze with Kathy. Emails and texts are promptly answered (and usually hilarious or wickedly witty, to boot!) That said, in this day and age when phone contact is becoming a quaint anachronism, Kathy has no qualms about calling. I really love that. …
I cannot rave enough about what a great experience I’ve had working with Kathy. She is thorough, practical and highly professional. On the flip side though, she is totally adventurous, infectiously enthusiastic and into fun…three traits you really want in a travel professional. I look forward to having her plan Hawaii and Alaska for us in future years, as those are some of her specialties. My bottom line: for your valuable vacation money and even more valuable time, you cannot go wrong using Kathy to help plan your adventure.

She listened to my expectations for this trip, listened to the activities and the Must Do’s I wanted my husband and me to experience along the way. Right or wrong she listened. She made awesome recommendations that only a seasoned travel agent could make. We tweaked a few of my Must Do’s considering that they were miles and miles apart and would take up so much travel time to and fro – because Kathy listened, she knew that was not what this trip was about…She took all the frustration and confusion away from our normal trip planning process and made sure it was perfect from start to finish. It was definitely customized and a one-of-a-kind vacation built for us.

Who knew that 2 weeks before our scheduled departure, Esther would find herself in the hospital having an emergency surgery? It was at that time that we were very grateful that we had listened to your strong recommendation to invest in travel insurance. Without that, we would not only have missed a pleasantly anticipated trip, but would have also lost our entire financial investment. With your patient assistance, we were able to recover not only the money for the cruise, but our airfare and hotel as well. $6,200! At a time when we were preoccupied with Esther’s recuperation, you came to our home, and sat down with us to make sure that our insurance claim was submitted correctly. Service! we could never have negotiated this process without your help.
…It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. …And the resort – top notch! …Kathy was able to help me pick out the perfect spot… The hotel was right on the water and gave us the option of several restaurants, on site markets and shops but also a room removed enough that you didn’t feel like you were at a massive Caribbean resort.
Aloha Kathy! We had a FABULOUS time! The lei greeting was great and we had a greeter with our name on a poster waiting to pick up our bags and guide us to our ride to the resort. I felt like a VIP!! …The island was lovely, the resort was lovely, the different tours we had scheduled were lovely! …The timing for whale watching was definitely good. We saw whales everywhere!! Our room at the resort was in an older part and we both really liked it. Getting around town was easy! …Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip, had great weather, and want to go back! You did an outstanding job! Thanks!!!

Kathy services don’t stop after the planning is done. We were traveling during a time where mass flight cancellations were happening due to weather. Luckily we were affected, but Kathy made sure to text and call us whenever she got updates on our travel information. It was great to know that she was watching out for us during our time away from home. …It was the perfect experience and Kathy is already helping us plan our next adventure!
Our hotel was just wonderful. It’s the nicest one either of us has ever stayed in and the service was impeccable! Our helicopter tour was so fun! … Our snorkeling cruise was the absolute best though. …we had such a great boat ride! … The snorkeling was fantastic. I’d never done it before and it felt so relaxing and almost meditative! We saw beautiful fish, eels, sea urchins…! You were so smart to plan it toward the end …nothing else could have topped it! … The beaches were beautiful and we really enjoyed the water. …our trip was one, big, fantastic success! We would do it over in a heartbeat and we have both never been so relaxed as after this time. Thanks so much for your planning! It was a dream trip! Oh, and the convertible was a huge hit! …It was so wonderful and I’ve already given your name to women we met at our hotel…Thanks again so much! It was fabulous!
The trip was AMAZING! Waking up on a gorgeous tropical island everyday was simply dreamy. … The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. … The line for the ship was really not that bad so thank you for the tip…worked out perfect….The ship was very nice. …The food was to die for! … We saw dolphins swimming by the ship. The spot you picked for us was absolutely perfect! … The shopping was so much fun and the island was breathtaking. … You were so right about the excursions…, they were perfect. …we were so lucky to have had almost the entire hour with hardly anybody there …I loved it so much… Our arrangements were wonderful for everything. Professional and courteous drivers. …
…The beach and water was even better than hawaii. I have never seen such beautiful green water, crystal clear! The whitest sand beaches I have ever seen. OMG…truly paradise! I can’t even explain it…just PARADISE! The trip to get to the beach was good. … We had an unforgettable time. We have memories to carry us through till next year … Finally, Kathy…..you have been amazing. I can’t tell you how many times we said that on the trip. The details were done flawless. The people were kind and professional. The entire trip was flawless and set up perfectly! We thank you SO MUCH! We will be using you for all our traveling. … I hope I’m relaying to you enough just how perfectly pleased we are with all you have done for our trip. Just tickled pink!!!
